Many people at the beach today. Lots of people flying the colors. Ain't
freedom great!

Fireworks on the beach

Usual large display of fireworks up and down the beach on the 4th. We
stayed out on the beach from the afternoon right through the evening.

4th Fireworks

Brock did a bang up job (no pun intended) on the fireworks display for the 4th. If you haven't seen the beach display on the 4th, it is simplay amazing. Fireworks everywhere.

Way to go Brock!

The Inn

Seems like we have always enjoyed staying here. Room 200 is our favorite which is upper right corner in the photo. It isn't much in terms of elegance, but it is quite comfortable.

Here is a picture from the Master bedroom looking out at a beautiful sunrise on the Atlantic Ocean.

Where do we start?

I guess having just returned from 2 weeks at the Inn it is hard to get this thing started. So, I'll discuss the drive home. 12 hours and 10 minutes - 11 H, 28M drive time and 37 minutes for lunch at Wendy's, 3 bathroom stops and about $70 of gas. Rained in Anniston. I took SC and AL. Debbie drove GA and finished off MS. 718 miles which averages at 62 mph.

After that drive, we need another vacation.
